Google Android HTC Dream

It seems that the mobile dreams of Android’s fans have come true. The all new Android-powered Google HTC Dream Phone (G1) will go on sale for only $199 on T-Mobile.

The HTC Dream is the first Android enabled phone to the market. The phone has an exceptional list of specs and features to accelerate the power of Android, which is Google’s new open source mobile operating system. The HTC Dream comes with large touch-screen with haptic feedback, full QWERTY keypad, 5 inches long and 3 inches wide, keypad that either slides or swivels for easy typing and so on.

The Android-powered HTC Dream will compete with the likes of the Apple iPhone which on a personal note has no chance in winning. However, can this new smart phone really compete with the likes of the iPhone 3G? I think all of you should be the juries. The HTC Dream will sell for $199 with a 2-year contract.
