Full specifications of the Asus Eee PC Slider SL101 Android tablet with a physical slide-out keyboard have been published on the computer maker’s website.

The Slider SL101 runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS with Asus Waveshare user interface on a 10.1-inch multi-tiouch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and scratch resistant Gorilla glass. The keyboard is QWERTY with isle style keys, but with no trackpad.

As same as many Honeycomb-based tablets on the market, the Slider also incorporates the Nvidia Tegra 2 platform. Tegra’s dual-core CPU is clocked at 1.2GHz and is accompanied by 1GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal Flash memory storage.

The included 25Wh Li-Polymer battery in the 0.68-inch thin 2.1-pound tablet provides up to 8 hours of run time, according to the specifications.

The SL101 weighs 2.1 pounds. It connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi and there’s also Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, USB 2.0 and mini HDMI ports, Micro SD card reader Gyroscope, G-sensor, E-compas. Its front camera has a 1.2-megapixel sensor, while the rear cam, actually located on the lid of the keyboard, is 5MP.

The device will ship in brown of white color and is expected to hit the market next month.
