HP iPAQ 600 & 900 SeriesToday HP just announced its new mobile devices. Two new GSM from iPAQ family are HP iPAQ 600 series (Business Navigator) and HP iPAQ 900 series (Business Messenger).

HP iPAQ 610c

HP iPAQ 610c is a mobile device that supports all of the four GSM bands and the three UMTS ones. HP iPAQ provides a huge number of options in the terms of network connectivity. HP iPAQ 610c supports GPRS, EDGE, and 7.2MBits HSDPA. Wireless communication supports seems to be a standard for nowadays mobile devices, which is means that HP iPAQ 610c is also include Bluetooth v2.0 and WiFi. HP iPAQ 610c also include a GPS receiver also completing your navigation activities.

HP iPAQ 610c is powered by 520 MHz Marvel PXA270 processor and its running under Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional, bundled with 128 MB SDRAM to fulfill your storage needs, and using 2.8-inch TFT touch-screen display in 64K colors with QVGA resolution.

The most interesting feature that brought by HP iPAQ 610c is a unique smart-touch navigation wheel. You just need to touch the touch-sensitive ring that you see on the alphanumeric keypad and you can able to scroll through the menus, application and documents. Other features are dedicated key for switching between landscape and portrait orientation of the screen, VoIP support, USB port, integrated 258MB memory expandable through the microSD card slot, 3MP camera with auto-focus and LED flash.

The word “c” at the end of HP iPAQ 610c is an abbreviation of “camera”, which is means that there is other version of this phone that without a camera, HP iPAQ 610 that will also be available. HP iPAQ 610c will be available at the market in late September and the beginning of October 2007.

HP iPAQ 910c

HP seems like to bring another of its products to provide more choices for mobile phone customers. HP iPAQ 910c, the bigger brother of HP iPAQ 610c, has almost the same functionality as the HP iPAQ 610c. However, it comes with a QWERTY keypad style to make the user easier in typing the text.

HP iPAQ 910c is using the same processor and operating system as well as HP iPAQ 610c uses. HP iPAQ 910c also supports all of the data transfer protocols as well as HP iPAQ 610c supports. The iPAQ 900 series is cover up with 3MP auto-focus camera for iPAQ 910c and no-camera feature version for iPAQ 910. However, screen size was reduced to 2.46”. Until now, I do not have any information about pricing of this device.
