Dell Streak 7 Android 2.3 Gingerbread Tablet
As the days are closing in on CES 2011, more and more rumors are coming from all directions. This time, rumor mill is suggesting that T-Mobile will launch Dell Streak 7 Tablet in upcoming CES 2011. In addition, Dell’s upcoming 7-inch Android-powered Tablet PC, the Dell Streak 7 Tablet, has been listed on the FCC website and showed off in a leaked in-production TV commercial.

The Dell Streak 7 Tablet, also known as the “Looking Glass”, has a built-in 3G UMTS modem supporting AT&T and/or T-Mobile networks in the U.S., 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, and an SD card slot.

According to the leaked commercial, it includes the custom Dell Stage user interface already used in the existing 5-inch Streak, access to Android marketplace, Blio e-book reader, Gorilla Glass touchscreen, and GPS. In addition, the existing Dell Streak, currently enjoying a gradual Android 2.2 Froyo rollout, 1GHz CPU, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, dual cameras, and 512MB ROM / 512MB RAM / 2GB embedded microSD. Moreover, Dell customers seem to be happy with the model and specifications, giving it an average of four out of five stars over 154 reviews.

Furthermore rumors suggest that Dell Streak 7 Tablet will be featured Android 2.2 Froyo operating system (probably) or perhaps Android 2.3 Gingerbread and front facing built-in camera (defiantly for video calling). Apart from above details, there’s no user manual available, so, other specifications, pricing and availability are still unknown. However, the tablet is expected to feature NVidia Tegra 2 CPU mobile platform and to be officially announced at the upcoming 2011 CES Show, Las Vegas, January 6-9.
