The latest rumor about Google’s phone has arrived to their fans. A UBS analyst has confirmed HTC, a Taiwanese handset manufacturer, will ship about 50,000 cell phones running on a mobile operating system that made by Mountain View, California-based search giant by the end of this year.

A week ago, a Wall Street analyst has reported that Google’s shares would crack US$700 with plans to make its own phone. Most of people suspect that Google is making a mobile operating system that could work on any mobile device. Google is trying to put itself as equalize as Symbian and or Microsoft. However, seems like Google is not focusing on its main business anymore. Could it be that Google is trying to monopolize other business with the power of capital?

This is the first moment for HTC, as a possible manufacturer of the GPhone. We will need to wait until 2008 to know more about the partnership between HTC and Google. So far, HTC has proven itself as a qualify smartphone-specialist. HTC has made its brand well known by other commercial consumer-handset users.
