Google has planed to launch its free software package (Android) to hit the market during the second half of next year. The system will control an untold number of cell phones. The system is designed to unify the mobile application developers, which will make the web-surfing activities on the cell phones easier than before.

This Mountain View-based company is hoping Android opens another lucrative channel for peddling ads and services to people when they are away from their PC, supplementing the revenue already pouring into the company from Internet advertising.
