DoubleDT.Com has had some mixed reports about what the sales figures for the new T-Mobile G1 phone will be. However, it seems that the HTC has already had its prediction about how many Google Android smart phones that the company hopes to sell. HTC expect to sell around 600,000 units by the end of this year, 2008.

Some people believe that the HTC is intentionally low-balling its forecast, but why the company would feels the need to do so. We all know how hard it is to try and to predict sales figures. However, if the HTC can give a low forecast, than the company can act surprised when the sales figures are greater.

Meanwhile, the HTC has not give DoubleDT.Com about the 2009 sales predictions. However, it seems that it will be much less than the achievement of the Apple’s iPhone 3G. Apple predicts sales of 10 million handsets by 2008, but that is now closer to 15 million.
