The new Samsung Pixon M8800 is about to take over the award for the world’s slimmest 8MP cell phone from the LG Renoir KC910.

Yesterday, DoubleDT.com has just received rumors about a second 8MP cell phone from the world’s largest conglomerate by revenue, Samsung. Recently, Samsung, the South Korea’s largest company or chaebol, has made it official. The new Samsung Pixon M8800 is targeted to become a rival to the LG Renoir.

The new Samsung Pixon M8800 is about to take over the award for the world’s slimmest 8MP cell phone from the LG Renoir KC910. The LG Renoir KC910 is 13.95mm. On the other hand, the new Samsung Pixon M8800 is just 13.8mm thick.

The new cell phone from Samsung is packed with a host of features; these include an integrated Photo Browser. Undoubtedly, this feature makes photo sharing and viewing easier. There will be a host of connectivity options; these include GPRS, GSM, EDGE as well as HSDPA at 7.2Mbps. Officially, the Samsung Pixon M8800 will be available from November 1st.
