The Cray CX1, which is the first window-based supercomputer to put 64-cores as its main processors, is designed to get high productivity computing into the mainstream. Undoubtedly, the Cray CX1 can beat the latest super powerful desktop on earth without any obstacle. Just look at the CX1 features. Imagine a machine with 16 Intel Xeon processors that are either quad-core or dual at your home.
