Nowadays, flat panel televisions are quickly becoming quite commonplace on store shelves and in consumers’ homes. LCD (Liquid Crystal Displays) flat panel televisions, with their performance improvements and decreasing price points are becoming a very desirable alternative to the standard CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) set. LCD flat panel televisions tend to be clearer than CRT set which can suffer from convergence or focus difficulties. Even small LCD flat panel televisions can display higher resolutions than the corresponding sized CRT. Moreover, LCD flat panel televisions also make small text easier to read.
The sexiest thing going in televisions is LCD screens that are only a few inches thick. That is why I decided to replace my old analog television box with new Sony Flat Panel set. Since LCD televisions are very thin, they can be either wall or table mounted. You can imagine what the wide screen will do for my DVD collection. It amazes me how many times a customer will purchase a SonyTV digital high-def set, to place it in the entertainment room. As LCD flat panel televisions continue to drop in price, consumers get many advantages such as space-saving aesthetics and better-priced screen quality. Later on, I found out that the best thing that I have done was spending my money at an electronics store and put a big Sony Flat Screen television in my entertainment room.
