If Microsoft is secretly readying its next generation console to succeed the Xbox 360, then surely Sony must be working on a PlayStation 4. Speculation is rife that the next console battle will be fought around 2011-2012.

Sony PlayStation 4? It is not as crazy as it sounds. Here is Tai Chiems’s (a designer) vision of the Sony PlayStation 4. The machine will embed a high end touch screen rather than the existing glossy body, which the current generation is using (not since the Slim…), looking at the snaps, even the controller has some touch screen in it, how cool is that? The design uses a transparent material that could we hope is very hard plastic as controllers are tossed around a lot. The design exists in black or white. Note that this is just a concept, not an upcoming stuff.
